Kottayam:  Deseeya Sevabharathi Kottayam District Annual General Meeting was held on August 3, 2025 at the Karthika Auditorium, Kottayam. DRDO Retd. Scientist Dr. S. Venugopal inaugurated the annual general meeting programs and spoke at the meeting. Sevabharathi Kottayam District Secretary Shri K. G. Priya welcomed the gathering and Adv. Rashmi Sarath presided over the function. District Secretary Shri K. G. Rajesh paid tribute to all the people, including those who laid the foundation at the organizational level and those who worked in the fields of art and culture who have left us. District Secretary Shri K. G. Rajesh presented the minutes and activity report of the last year\'s annual general meeting and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Uttara Prantha Pracharak Shri Sudarshan also delivered the Seva Sandesh. In the meeting, Sudarshan Ji released the annual edition of Aapath Seva published by Rashtriya Sevabharathi to Dr. Venugopal. Treasurer A. N. Harikumar presented the income and expenditure account. Shri P P Gopalakrishnan, District Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks, State Secretaries Dr Krishnan Namboothiri and Shri K Sureshkumar were present in the meeting, the inaugural session concluded at 11.30. The special features of various units were presented.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Vibhag Karyawah Shri R Sanu announced the members of the Deseeya Sevabharathi Kottayam District Committee for the year 2025-26. The 31-member committee consisting of President Adv. Rashmi Sarath, General Secretary Shri Dinesh and Treasurer Shri A N Harikumar. General Secretary J Dinesh presented the future activities in the meeting, followed by a series of by-techs. After lunch, the Sangh District Bytechs were held

In the concluding session, National Seva Bharathi Kottayam District Secretary J Dinesh welcomed the gathering and gave a yoga samship, Kala Aji gave a personal song and Sevabharathi Kerala, State Secretary Sri K Sureshkumar gave a closing message.

257 unit executive members from various Seva Bharathi units in the district participated in the function. The function concluded with the vote of thanks by the District Secretary and the chanting of Shanti Mantra.
